It's a (fairly) hard-scifi setting, with an action-adventure feel. Cool characters, great world-building and a fast-paced story.

Read them!
Then go watch the TV series of it, on SyFy.

    I watched the pilot a while back. It looked interesting, but haven't had a chance to get back to it.

    There are parts to 3D print some of the ships on Thingiverse that SyFy released.

    I haven't seen the show yet, it's not easily available for purchase here. But some of those 3D sculpts look great! I love industrial-looking space ships.
