awesome. I am going to try and use the ore script and add dilitium to it and allow that to be used to make fuel (ie energy) for the ship, of course at a reallllly reduced rate. I thinking a mission from far stations would allow for some cool planning on surivial at high warp

Still a WIP but getting there: http://bridgesim.net/builds/eetrek/eetrek_20161014.zip.
You can replace the audio files with the ones that are in resources_newsounds to get Trek sound effects. Will probably seperate those out on the next version.

EDIT 2020-11-15: File was not brought over to new server. Doesn't work with newer versions of EE.
  • Cool deal!
  • Ran the new version today with 4 players.
Worked good, everyone liked it. No concerns or wants as of yet, everyone was just getting used to it.
    New audio pretty good.
Though sometimes I seem underpowered compared to enemies with only a few phasers. but leaves some room for interesting tactics.

    Thank you
  • I purposely kept the ships underpowered. I wanted there to be a challenge and not have Starfleet just blowing everything away.
The older the ship the weaker they are.
  • When tackling the T R M N concept, please be wary. I know the person who obtained the digital gaming rights from the author has been zealous in the past with shutting down anyone trying to do anything with it.. but they've never produced anything and I want to see an Hverse mod!!!
  • Do these trek mods go on the server, client or both?
  • I would guess both. It depends on if it simply modifies the client files, or the server files as well.
  • They go on both, clients & server
  • Do you have a newer version @kwadroke ? Or is this that latest version?
"Still a WIP but getting there: http://bridgesim.net/builds/eetrek/eetrek_20161014.zip."
  • That's the latest version. Haven't tested it on newer builds of the game.
  • I'm working on updating the Trek Mod. It's nearly complete. Trying to make it as modular & easy to install as possible.

  • Removed broken images. Links to Files not migrated from old server (on purpose).

  • I've created a new Github Repo at https://github.com/kwadroke/eetrek for the Trek mod. It will be October 2021 before I get to add content to this as I want to remove non-free files from it and get better source files for both the 2D elements as well as the models.

  • Hi, is the link updated? I couldn't find your mod there.

    thanks

I started work back on it, but need to circle back to it and re-work it as I was doing it wrong.

I am re-creating it from scratch due to updates to EE and keeping non-Free assets out.

https://github.com/kwadroke/eetrek will be the place I upload the mod to make it available to download & fork.

I've gotten back to work on this. I've got some basic files up there now on GitHub.

Right now it's just basic GUI re-colorization. Still much more to do & tweak.

I've only tested on the newest version of EE released today (Feb 6th 2022).
