Alpha support in ship / object textutres?
I wanted to ask if there is a way to utilize alpha (transparency) in ship textures, so far I have not been able to find luck with .png / .tga / .bmp methods.
Useful for glass, solar sails, space jellyfish, and the like.

Things like explosions are using alpha transparency, but they use a different blending mode which negates these artifacts. However, this isn't usable for window rendering.
